Your Story is the Only Story That Matters
Are you a small business owner changing your business or thinking of changing your business to remain competitive in the fast and turbulent marketplace where we all find ourselves?
Our expertise is to guide you through organizational change to overcome turbulence. I cannot, nor do I wish to, supply you with expertise on your product or service, but I can assist you through change or planning change. Though my firm has its own ethic, culture, and method, we are experts on the current research into the many types, contexts, and methods of change in any of them. We will never push our culture or ethic onto you as the right one. Only you know your story and vision and have the passion and experience to do what you do. We coach small businesses. We run our business, not yours.
I can provide experience and knowledge in business administration, tactics, growth, culture, and leadership, leaning on 40 years of small business experience and 6+ years of graduate research and studies in advanced business concepts and consulting.
However, we have found that YOUR story is more important than our skill set. Because we believe so strongly in stories, this is part of mine.
In the early 80s, I was a young research physicist for a Wallstreet listed manufacturing firm and was promoted early to project manager. Then my partner, also my wife, started an insurance agency which we grew into a multistate sales and consulting firm during the mid and late 80s. I was injured in a bicycle accident, raced bicycles, and sustained a brain injury. I was told I would probably not survive, and if I did, I would be useless to anyone. We did not buy into that philosophy. Though it took me over a decade, I returned to graduate school, received an MBA-Leadership, graduated with the highest honors, and was initiated into Delta Mu Delta, a business honor society. I am now pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership. They were right. It was almost impossible.
They were wrong. I did it anyway.
Often, your passion and attitude is what allows your small businesses to thrive.
Let us coach you. You supply the know-how for your business. You provide the only story that matters, your story. We give expert business knowledge and advice.
I charge $150/hour for remote coaching, and we negotiate a fee that includes travel and housing if you want on-site coaching. If you have questions, use the form below and we will get back to you.
